The AquaCalc Pro

We believe that the AquaCalc Pro is the best in-stream discharge measurement computer available. This latest model is easier to use thanks to its improved programming, larger display, enhanced keypad, and robust design.

The 25 key keypad puts the most used funtions at your finger tips. For those of you who still wish to hear your meter “clicks”, the internal speaker will let you hear them without a headset, and can sound a tone when you press a key or when the AquaCalc displays a message.

The entire user interface has been designed make stream measurements even easier. With the larger display it is now possible to see up to three observations in a vertical on the same screen, plus measurement settings and messages. Plus a continuous display of estimated instantaneous velocity so that you can see what the stream is doing before you begin your “official” observation.

The new menu system, combined with three “soft-keys”, whose functions can be changed as needed, give the user easy access to the AquaCalc’s capabilities.

Hardware design improvements include a water proof case, scratch resistant display lens, integrated data port, and redesigned  mounting bracket.

The AquaCalc Pro’s measurements can be downloaded to a computer using the AquaCalc DataLink Pro and displayed in the AquaCalc Pro Analyzer, which displays customizable graphs and reports.

The AquaCalc Pro Display

The AquaCalc Pro includes a 16 line, cold weather display.

In the main Measurement Screen, the display will show all of the important information for the vertical that you are measuring, including:

• Tag line distance,
• Stream depth,
• Individual 0.2, 0.6, and 0.8 observations locations
• Meter revolutions, time and velocity in each observation
• The calculated velocity for the vertical / tag line location
• Horizontal Angle and method coefficients
